God gave us children so we could understand what he goes through. Although there’s no doubt parents create a child, that child has free will, just as we do. And like God, we should be just yet merciful with our children. Thankfully his divine nature is infinitely more patient than ours as parents. Note the qualifying phrase – …the Lord pities those who fear him.
