Our thinking: “I’m not smart enough.” #God promises: “I will give you wisdom.” #breastcancer #Jesus #Christ

The wisest man that ever lived was King Solomon.  What made him smart was that he was humble enough to realize he didn’t know enough to govern his people.  A contrast to present day’s fake-it-tip-you-make-it leadership style.

How did he gain such wisdom? He asked God for it. 1 Kings: 3-13

The process: 1) Ask Jesus to help your unbelief. He will help you if you are sincere.  2) Ask him for wisdom. 3) Read John and then read Romans. 4) Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.

It is that simple.  You will then receive the Holy Spirit.  With the Holy Spirit you have access and will receive the wisdom of God who will guide you in day-to-day decision making if you listen.

1 Corinthians 1:30

30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

My wife and I are so thankful to everyone for their prayers and support.  My son had his last surgery on July 10 and is now cured of his cancer.  On June 4, my wife had a double mastectomy and on July began chemo.  She has five months of chemotherapy and we’ll find out the results of our son’s bone scans.  So, we are going to place our faith and hope in the Lord because he loves us.  Thanks and may Christ be with you.
